Angelo's Italian Pizza - Midlothian

Great place. What a great way to celebrate neighborhod dining. Angelo's has been a staple in the Midlothian area for quite some time. Love the pizza and it's always hopping on a weekend night. Reminds me of the places used to frequent in Northern Virgnia. Has that local charm and good food to boot.

Best place to get NY style pizza and tiramisu. Food is tasteful and it's a very friendly atmosphere. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend it!!!!!

The atmosphere varies depending on where you sit in the restaurant. Near the bar, there's a classic pizza parlor vibe, while the outdoor patio offers a lovely setting, and the main dining room is adorned with rustic artifacts from Italy and a few nods to Italian-American culture. My favorite aspect has to be the collection of portraits showcasing iconic Italian actors from cinema's past century. We chose to sit on the patio so we could bring our dog along. The wait staff was attentive and friendly, serving us a medium pepperoni-jalapeno pizza (which would be considered large by most standards) along with what I believe to be the best cannoli I’ve ever had. So far, this has been the finest Italian restaurant I’ve experienced south of the James River.
