Costa Coffee - Midlothian

I love this country no matter where, the coffee is always completely overroasted! No matter where, unfortunately, you have to stay with tea, you really do!

I had £5 stolen from me by the staff at this restaurant. Zoe gave me change of £5 instead of £10, and when I made a complaint, the manager said he would review the CCTV footage. He came back and insisted he saw that he had given me £5. When I asked to see a picture of the transaction, he refused. I knew this was impossible because I didn't have a £5 bill with me. The manager then told me to leave. I called the police, but have not heard anything back from them. Be cautious, as it seems there are dishonest individuals working at this cafe.

Fantastic coffee shop with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Everything was top-notch. Despite being busy, service was quick and the tables were cleared promptly. We will definitely be returning soon.

I visited this restaurant with the intent of ordering an oat milk latte, but unfortunately they did not have oat milk available. I asked the staff if they could recommend another coffee shop nearby that might offer it, and they informed me that Costa was the only coffee shop in the business park, with two locations. However, a helpful engineer from Halfords directed me to another coffee shop called Podingtons in the same business park. I was disappointed by the lack of honesty from Costa about their competition, and as a result, I will not be returning to Costa Straiton.

The staff here are amazing! The range of coffee/Tea and lunch and breakfast ideas are plentiful and the prices are very mid range and also plenty of space I had a baby/Buggy?highchair and all staff and customers were accommodating to the space we were taking up!
