Delicious sandwiches, sausages, chili, fries and sides. Reasonable prices. Smoked almonds in the broccoli were excellent and the Italian pasta salad very good too. Recommend asking them to do the pulled chicken sandwich with the pulled pork sandwich toppings if you prefer pulled chicken (Cole slaw, pickles etc). They will sample the bbq sauce, all are good. Hard pick between the mustard and Carolina vinegar sauce. Good soft ice cream. Very accommodating and welcoming owners!

This was my first visit and I got the burnt end sliders. Three little sandwiches that were full of flavor and multiple sauces at the table. I wish I would've ordered some sides because would try more of their menu. Most likely will be back.

If you’re planning on eating here don’t make any plans for afterward because you’ll be too full to do anything ? I’ve eaten here multiple times and YUMM! I’ve never been disappointed. Wonderful staff and amazing food! If Clarence’s isn’t on your list of places to go, you’re missing out. We had the pulled pork lasagna. We got the big one hoping to have left overs for the next day and we ate it all. No regrets.

We just left Clarence’s Smokehouse. It was fantastic!! From the ribs, brisket, burger to the smoked baked potato and corn fritters…They were all great!! The owners are very nice! We will definitely be back!

I am from North Carolina, And have lived in almost every barbecue Capitol in the US. Barbecue is in my blood. This is the best barbecue I’ve ever had outside of the south and since my favorite place didn’t survive the pandemic, ever. The pork was seasoned perfectly, the Carolina sauces are 10/10 (the others were 10/10 too), the Cole slaw was perfect and not too mayo-y, the potato salad was great, the beans were great. The owner is so knowledgeable and friendly, he sat and talked to us for a while. This is a hidden gem in Midland, and I cannot wait to visit family again so I can come back here.
