The Taco Factory - Middletown

The street tacos were delicious. But with the name Taco Factory, it was a certainly not churned out very fast. Thank goodness they were delicious!

Excellent fresh honestly feeling food. Enjoyed the dish. I forget the name but it was delish. Chopped up meat with tomatoes and peppers and onions. Rice was great. Margheritas solid. Highly recommend.

I celebrated my birthday here last night and chose this restaurant again because I've enjoyed it in the past. The flour and tortilla chips are fantastic, and the food is delicious overall. Our waiter was very friendly. Since it was my birthday, they surprised me with a sombrero, a dessert, and even played "Happy Birthday." I would definitely give this place a 10 out of 10 and highly recommend it!

I live in Rhode Island, and I often find myself thinking about driving over four hours just to enjoy the tacos at Taco Factory. To illustrate my point, there was one day during a road trip when we stopped there on our way home, and the restaurant was facing a staffing crisis. Everyone except for a brand new dishwasher and a younger staff member had to leave due to a family emergency. The young employee was actually in the process of closing down the restaurant and was turning away future guests because, with the volume of takeout orders and the constant ringing of the phone, it was impossible for just two people to manage everything (especially late on a Sunday evening). I’m so grateful he let us stay and offered to cook for us because the food was definitely worth the wait. He was incredibly kind, accommodating, and genuinely apologetic. This experience is why I never complain in restaurants—good things take time! I can't wait to visit again.

These are easily the best street tacos I've had outside of Mexico! Just remember that they're closed on Wednesdays—I've lost track of time and ended up in front of their closed sign more times than I'd like to admit! The wait can be quite long; even though we were the only customers there, we waited about 30 minutes for our food. It might have been because they were handling other orders and phone calls, but it definitely felt lengthy. Next time, I think I'll call in my order ahead of time.
