I used to eat with the family and takeout. No one has ever been disappointed. Food, service and prices are all fantastic!

Best Diner Ever! To get to a beach, my family and I drive the 1.5 hours from Rockland County to Sandy Hook. We always stop off at the Arms II Diner on the way back. I've never had a bad thing to eat there or bad service. I've eaten at many diners on the east coast over my almost 62 years and this diner beats any I've ever eaten in.Tonight I had an egg, cheese and bacon sandwich with hash browns. It was so good. One family member had the voldka pasta with chicken and loved it, as well as the potato soup with leeks. Another had the blue cheese cajun burger with fries. Everything was so good. We were eating out of each others dishes to taste everything.Due to Covid, I think some things have slipped... and I know from experience that right now, good help or any help at all is hard to get. I'm not taking any stars off for the following...I was surprised that our booth was not clean. The padded green area by your head was dirty as well as the wood by your head. The booth fabric has lost its color, but it's not worn. The booth seat had a rip in it. I noticed other dirty booths. The rest of the place looked very clean.The staff was nice, but spent most of their time talking to each other. The waitress kept forgetting things and rolled her eyes when I wanted something else for take out. This is not what I am used to, but with Covid, I think it's difficult to get good help and hard to find anyone to fix anything. However, it did not take away from the people who make your food and the good quality of that food.

French Dip for 4??? This sandwhich was MASSIVE! The roast beef tender, roll was nice and the au jus was rich and savory…good sandwich, great deal! Oh, and the crust on the apple pie was as good as I’ve ever had!
