Crooked Hammock Brewery - Middletown

The atmosphere is great, especially for families or just to get that beach vibe. I was with two other family members who thoroughly enjoyed their meals. One was the grilled meatloaf (OMG and amazing Mac and cheese with it), the other a salmon dish. I ordered the chili, which I would not recommend (my reason for taking one star away for food). I personally thought the menu was pricey, but the portions were really good and overall definitely close to a 5/5.

I’m not sure who we had as a waiter but he was phenomenal. 2 of our party of 8 work in the brewing industry and our waiter had suggestions based on what we drink as well as his honest opinions on the beers. We do always get the nachos here and they are banging. I highly recommend. They are also very child friendly and interact with the kiddo.Parking: Great parking. We have a big truck and it was good for us!Kid-friendliness: Great option for kiddos to ru around.

We absolutely love Crooked Hammock and have gone to both Delaware locations multiple times over the past few years to celebrate special occasions. Middletown is the location we've visited most often as it is closest to us, only 1hr 15min from us in Bel Air, MD.We've had a great time every time we've been there, the food and beers are always fantastic, but this past visit was the best we've ever had. Alex was our server, and there is no exaggeration when I say that he was one of the best waitstaff that we have ever had (not just at Crooked Hammock, but anywhere). He was friendly, accommodating, and patient (especially when we had a 3 year old and 1 year old at our table). Any question we had he was able to answer flawlessly and was still able to ensure that the other tables he was working were given the same care we were. He was absolutely phenomenal, and we would love to have him each and every time we visit.Would 100% recommend to anyone and everyone considering going here.

Great service I want to say “Travis” was his name. We came in with a party of 5 my kids included. Food was good, loved our server though! In case I got his name wrong the date was9/8/23 around 5pm!
