I was charged $14.00+ for a small cheesesteak with hardly any meat and green peppers that I didn't even order. What if I was allergic to them. No menus available to even look at when I was there so I thought I was safe getting a regular cheesesteak. Won't be going back again. After trying this it doesn't even taste good and I do t even think its steak. Tastes and looks more like it's a burger they chopped up and put in.
Angelina’s was the sponsor for our baseball team this season. During that time they hosted a special LSTAA night where they donated 10% of the proceeds to the organization. They also set up at our opening day and donated a portion of their proceeds again. My husband (who was the head coach of our team) reached out to the owners and asked them what it would cost to get 10 pizzas for an end of the year party for our team. The party was at our house so the only profit Angelina’s stood to make was on the pizzas (no one would be buying drinks or ice cream or anything extra). Guess what they charged us for 10 pizzas? Nothing! It was a donation to the team. We’ve even been in talks with them about hosting a charity event together (we hosted one last year and Angelina’s really helped us out with a nice donation). Some of these reviews aren’t so great but our experience with them has been nothing short of extraordinary!Oh…. And the food is great too!!! I wish they’d sell me an entire bag of their homemade croutons ?
I placed an online order for two pizzas yesterday and received one pizza and an empty box. When I called to let them know, they told me they’d remake the pizza, but we had to come back and get it. When we declined, they said we could call slice for a refund and they’d put a free pizza voucher on their books.Today I called and let them know we were on our way for our free pizza and they told me they would not give us the pizza because we got the refund. But yesterday, they did not say it was one or the other. We were in the area, so we stopped in, in person and the owner was extremely rude from the start and when I explained the situation, told me “don’t come in here arguing with me.” As we were leaving, he said, “keep on walking.”I posted about our experience on social media and they decided to blast me on social media, deleted my comments and turned off the ability for me to comment or post, which seems super shady to me.This was our first and last time there for sure. They’re for sale; here’s to hoping their new owners will make better pizza and provide customer service and professionalism. The comments on the post I made and a lot of the reviews on Google seem to echo my experience. I was even told that the owner likes to back minor employees into a corner and scream at them, which unfortunately doesn’t surprise me with the way he treated us.
I have eaten here several times and always enjoyed my experience. We have always had friendly, professional and fast service. It’s nice to have a pizza place close by that also serves ice cream. The restaurant is always clean and they have a huge menu with lots of choices. At least one of the owners personally says hello every time. I’ll definitely continue to visit!
Good food but very inconsistent. We gave them numerous tries. Food could be great next time not. Once ordered online through Slice app. They never made the order. Then went to pick it up they started making it when I arrived asked for it. Then of course waited patiently as the Stromboli to take home. No offer was made to make good for their mistake. So we decided to not return. We have recently read they are up for sale, so it makes sense that inconsistency of food along with bad service will not sustain a business.
