The Village Green - Middleton

It was our first time visiting, and we sat across from the bar, closest to the kitchen and watched the cook, prepare burgers(touching buns, lettuce, tomato) without wearing gloves and not washing hands their hand after handling raw meat. Didn't seem very sanitary.

Great neighborhood tavern, reasonably priced drinks and beer daily specials. Small menu bit all of the food is excellently prepared. I was there with a group of 8. All of the food came out close together, everything was hot and tasty. Definitely a good place for a good lunch.

I wish they'd have healthier options on the menu, but overall a nice place to get a quick bite and hang out.

This was our first visit. We sat at this place for 10 mins before being waited on, then at least 45 minutes after we ordered still no food. We walked out. Other customers arriving after us were served their food and finished eating and we still hadn't received ours yet. Needless to say, we won't be going back.

They add a surcharge for using credit cards. Cash has unique costs for the restaurant as well. Why no charge for using cash?
