Costa Coffee - Middlesbrough

Avoid this restaurant as it is overpriced, serves poor quality food, has long queues, and slow staff. Instead, head over to the larger restaurant and coffee lounge down the corridor for a much better dining experience.

I visit this restaurant every two days with my father, who resides in a nearby healthcare facility. We both agree that one of the male waiters makes the best drinks. This is not to say that the other waiters are not good, we simply prefer his. Overall, we appreciate the good service. Thank you very much.

I just want to say that we have been coming to this restaurant almost every day for the past 4 weeks. I want to thank all the staff, especially Claire and Beth, for being so polite and well-mannered during a tough time for us. Even when they were busy, they apologized to customers for any delays and worked quickly to serve everyone. Overall, we had a great experience here.

Overpriced, low-quality food for a captive audience, not worth it

We stopped by for a coffee and cake break. The coffees were good, but the Bakewell tarts were a disappointment. They used to be delicious with soft icing, cake, and tangy jam. However, what we got was a small piece of pastry with cake crumbs and a thick disc of tasteless fondant icing. It was not worth the cost and we won't be returning.
