Shades Cafe Steakhouse - Middlesboro

Food was good and staff is nice, but not very attentive to refill drinks. Not a big deal because they were good enough. But the interior needs some attention. It's clean, but it looks like a prison. You might have had three sections, maybe it was exactly where I was sitting?

Eat steaks everywhere else... then come here! My 10 ounces. Ribeye didn't need a knife, it was so tender. The house salad was just right with crispy salad and crispy in the house together with mini tomatoes and all with shredded cheese that was freshly shredded. If you want wine or special spirits, they have them here. I had sweet potato caserole that was so good that it was made like mum. Oh, yes, I've served all this with raspberry cheesecake on a chilled dessert plate and a fresh dagger of whipped cream on the side. The service was great, with everything you can drink tea and soda. We went early on Saturday and we were sitting immediately, and they just added additional interiors and exterior seats. You can call and pick up. You will not be disappointed by the experience.

Had a great lunch with my wife today. She had a Greek salad and I had a reuben sandwich and Sweet Potato Casserole. The sandwich was great with thick cuts of beef and served hot. Excellent service and ordering was about 15 minutes. I saw a long time, but I wasn't really hungry. It was worth it.

My Husband and I decided to try out Shades because of all the compliments he kelp hearing from others and boy oh boy am I certainly glad we did. The food was honestly delicious, probably one of the best steaks we have ever ate and we have tried lots of places… the shrimp was fantastic, everything we had was super! I think we’ve fount our new favorite place, YUMMY!!!
