Golden Jalapenos Cafe - Middle Island

What an amazing experience. We had soccer practice tonight at Longwood middle school and right down the road is this little tiny Mexican takeoutOwner was behind the counter and was so nice to everybody in my. All the food is cooked fresh, and was totally delicious.I had three chicken tacos that we're out of this world good. Nissan had a buffalo chicken quesadilla he said the buffalo sauce was not too hot and definitely had flavor.We will be back soon!!!

Great place, they have such a variety of food. Luis the owner is very friendly and generous to the community, especially veterans. The best thing about this place is the changing specials which are usually some kind of fusion of Mexican and other culture. It doesn't look like much but don't let that fool you, they are no joke!!

Tried Golden Jalapeños for the first time. I had the pulled pork paella, it was loaded with tasty pulled pork. It was delicious. My husband had the large nachos, they were ok as nachos go, plenty of sour cream and guacamole but some of the chips were very greasy, overcooked and bitter. Would not order them again. The classic margarita was very tasty but served in a beer glass? Everything in the place felt greasy, the table, the floor.

Appears short staffed, like many places these days unfortunately. The supposed home made margaritas were a bowl of sugar and served in a beer glass. Come on....a supposed authentic ethnic restaurant should have at least right drinking glasses. Salsa and chip appetizer very Taco Bell-like. Pretty good fish tacos and ok enchiladas. Nothing really memorable so will explore other Mexican restaurants

Food is just ALWAYS fresh Owner is so connected to customers My hubby and kids order here weekly honestly .... Just awesome food You'll see Thank you Love it so so so much There is no place like this place Awesome Yum Yum
