Shibui Japanese - Miami

Shibui's sushi surpasses that of any other restaurant I've visited, even those by the beach. It's truly excellent!

This is the best sushi restaurant! Every time I recommend it to a friend, they end up loving it and becoming hooked.

My wife and I visited this restaurant one weekend after watching a movie, and we've been returning ever since. While the movie was forgettable, the food here certainly isn't. The sushi is incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious. As a regular customer, I highly recommend this restaurant.

Shibui features traditional tatami seating on the second floor, which I highly recommend. However, if you're not accustomed to this style or have hip or knee issues, it might be uncomfortable. They do offer standard tables on the first floor as an alternative. The restaurant can get quite busy during dinner, so it's advisable to make reservations in advance. The food is good and there is a wide selection. I highly recommend the eggplant appetizer—it was surprisingly delicious! The sushi was fresh, although the rice had a bit more vinegar than what some might expect. I recommend Shibui for special occasions, as it provides a fun dining experience!

The servers were incredibly sweet and attentive! They even decorated our table for our daughter's birthday, which was a lovely touch. The food was not only excellent but also beautifully presented. We will definitely return! We chose the tatami seating (floor seating) and thoroughly enjoyed that experience. The restaurant was bustling, with every table occupied.
