We ordered 3 argentine parrilla and was really cold! service quiet disappointing. too expensive for the end product they get at the table!

Bad experience overall. I visited from Vegas for Art Basel and my birthday 12/2. Made reservation for one at 9:15 on 12/3. Arrived 10 minutes early and couldn’t find the hostess nor the hostess desk. Explained I had a reservation and got a confused look then was asked if I wanted to sit at the bar. I didn’t because I wanted to eat and relax. Got seated at a table and for a good 10 minutes no one came to greet me or explain the QR code menu or offer water or anything. Finally a male waiter came by to offer water and I ordered a red wine, and by then I was ready to order. Started with kale caesar salad with chicken. It honestly looked and taste like Applebees (no offense to Applebees fans). I took 2-3 bites and wasn’t impressed, the kale was almost too soggy to cut. I never had a server check on me or anything. My wine was half empty and no one offered more. Water was empty and no one offered more. A total different waitress noticed and came by to ask if everything was ok and I told her I’d like the check. I explained the salad wasn’t good and she comped it and then I explained the lack of service as well as the food made the experience overall to be terrible. She understood and I paid for my wine (with tip) then left. I walked next door to beaker and easily spent $250+ by myself. Way better experience and the food was good too. Didn’t mean to plug them here, but just goes to show that Shelter lost business due to poor service. I could’ve got over the salad and moved onto the next course but I was ready to leave.

Loved it! I’ve been to the one in Brooklyn many times, and there is no difference the food is excellent. Definitely be back

Great restaurant, the food was delicious and the service outstanding, I would definitely recommend this place. The waiter gave us an awesome service (sadly I don’t remember his name)

Nice design, very cozy, food was good, draft beer. Only thing was that all serving staff was line up behind the tables watching over us the whole time. Its good paying attention on the tables, but can be done in a more discrete and comfortable for guests way.
