Sapore di Mare Italian Seafood - Coconut Grove

Great spot in the Grove. We had two appetizers and two mains. All were amazing. Staff was friendly and manger was constantly ensuring we were taken care of.

No bread was brought to the table. The service was mediocre. The decor was nice but super loud we could barely talk. The appetizer was average. My dinner was the Snapper special. Very expensive and flavorless. My husband ordered the octopus and for the price we expected more; small portion which came with a few sad looking potatoes.

Very disappointed with the service tonight. Waiter seemed miserable. Absolutely no help with the menu. And then forgot part of our order when we brought it to his attention no apology just asked if we still wanted it after we were completely done eating our food. Really?? Completely different experience from the first time we came, which is why we decided to return. Will definitely have thoughts of ever coming back after this treatment. And not to mention had to leave him a 20% tip we could not leave him what he actually deserved, which was way less for what we paid for dinner. 

I frequently visit an exceptional Italian restaurant that consistently surpasses my expectations. While not a luxury establishment, the service is unmatched—far exceeding even the finest dining experiences I’ve had. The food is simply extraordinary, with every dish crafted to perfection using fresh ingredients and remarkable attention to detail. What truly sets this place apart is the incredible customer service. Ilene, the hostess, and the manager always make me feel like royalty, treating me with such warmth and professionalism that it feels like home. Their teamwork is gold, making every visit unforgettable. This restaurant is a must-visit for anyone seeking an outstanding dining experience.
