Romano's Macaroni Grill Kendall - Miami

I discovered this small place some time ago when they first opened. I was very surprised with the food choices and the atmosphere. Very unpretentious place, family oriented and overall great food. Every time I walk in, I feel like a member of the family. I 'm personally greeted by name and the owner already knows what I order. As for one of the reviews that labeled them 'racist,’ I have no idea what they are talking about. I 'm Hispanic and have never experienced any form of racism from them. On the contrary, they 've treated me more like a friend than anything. Highly, HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend checking this place out.

My wife and I happened across this restaurant while searching the internet for seafood during our stay in Miami. I read the reviews and figured why not, let's give it a shot. I was greeted by the hostess which I later found out was the wife of the owner and who was also the proud creator of the southern style sweet tea. My glass never got close to the bottom before another on took its place. Darn good tea!!! Having grown up in Ocean City Maryland as a kid and a young adult, I have a fondness towards crab cakes. I saw them on the menu and then informed my waitress that it was going to be a tough sell to match real Maryland crab cakes. I have to say that I was very surprised at how good they were. I am also a fan of conch fritters and once again. Absolutely wonderful. I talked to the owner for about a half an hour after my wife and I finished our dinner and complimented him and his staff for a very good dinner that was inexpensive to boot. I have to return to Miami in two months and you can bet the house that you will find me here again. The Rockfish Grill passed this ole Maryland boys test. Great Food, Great Service, Great Eats!!! A

My husband is not too adventurous when it comes to eating out. I was by myself, having gone to Ulta Cosmetics and started getting hungry. Although there are several eating places at that shopping center, I happened to ask some patrons coming out of Rockfish how they liked the food, and they said they love it come here quite often. The food was very good. I had the crabcake dinner and the cakes were a good size. I just loved their black bean and tomato salsa. Will certainly go back (by myself!! or with a girlfriend) The server was very nice. Didn 't have to ask for refills!

What can I say...this place is one of our favorite places to eat. We have 2 young children and even they love to go! That is mostly due to a Rock Fish treat of letting the Kid 's tape their colored page they do up on the wall...they love that part! We love the place as it is family run and everything is made to order fresh...even the chips on my Smoked Fish Spread come to the table fresh hot. This place knows quality. Try their Macadamia Mahi Mahi or even their Teriyaki Skirt Steak...our fav 's. Plus, check out their Special Board ...the Chef Owner is always coming up with some great stuff. We highly recommend a visit if you are in the area.

To the person that claims racism. I am Latin and have four kids. We eat at Rockfish all the time and have only great things to say. You might be one of those rude Latins with likewise kids.
