Pizza Rustica Downtown Miami

My favorite pizza place in Miami! Always a friendly person to take your order the quality is consistently delicious! They even have vegan cheese, which is a total bonus! Toppings are always fresh, even the pineapple. No canned **** at this place.

I ordered a pizza because I was hungry and thought it would be fun to try the mushroom pizza. Person on the phone was speaking too fast/with an accent and miscommunicated important information (I had to repeat credit card and address info. I speak very clear English). She told me that the pizza would be here in 20 minutes (which I thought was fast). But I could barely understand her so I said ok. 45 minutes later I call back (as the pizza had not been delivered) and tell her that I have to leave in 30 minutes. She then tells me that the driver will not make it and argues the time she told me. I don't care either way, I am more annoyed that she argued with me instead of finding a solution. At this point I don't care how good the pizza is, I will not be a customers of theirs. I would guess that their service is worse at the location. I'll rush and drive to another pizza place instead. I rarely leave reviews.

This is one of my favorite lunch spots in downtown Miami. Pizzarium sits on busy East Flagler Street and is a standout gem among the other pizza choices in downtown MIA. Very sparsely decorated, Pizzarium does not need to lean on cliche décor to grad your attention. At onetime there were Italian Movie Posters on the wall such as Roman Holiday, LA Dolce Vita and other Fellini films. Now there are butcher paper scrolls averting happy hour and daily specials. I personally prefer the movie posters. The pizza is divine, Simple light and airy! The crust is (supposedly) healthier than your typical pizza crust but once you taste it, health concerns fall by the waist-side. They do have the ubiquitous pepperoni but it seems to be a much better tasting pepperoni than the norm; or maybe it's Mi Corazón wishing it was healthy. There's also Hawaiian, Sausage and transcendently delicious Fungbetto (Mushroom). Salami Tempesta and the damn good Pumpkin and Sausage. When the hot pizza comes out, i always drizzle it with some extra virgin olive oil. The light airy crust soaks up the oil and I think that makes it even healthier! There are other items like pastas, salads, focaccia paninis and arancina; if you haven't tried it, please do. Is this joint your typical NY Slice style pizza joint? No! But the pizza is excellent. The pizza here reminds me of this bistro on a quite street in Rome; where I briefly met Monica Bellucci! OK, full disclosure, I've never met Monica Bellucci and I have never been to Rome..... A man can dream can't he?

Needed a quick bite before heading to the airport to leave Miami. Pizzarium was quick and convenient so I stopped in. They have inside seating but we're very empty during late afternoon hours which I first thought was a bad sign. They had a huge display of different kinds of square Sicilian style pizzas. I opted for one slice of classic margherita and one slice of pepperoni. The added a big slice of basil on top of the margherita after heating it up, which was a nice touch. It was your regular kind of margherita but I will say they put a lot of cheese on it which I loved. The pepperoni was amazing, and it could've been because I normally don't eat pepperoni so it was a cheat day. My friend ordered a Caesar salad but was disappointed that they did not use iceberg lettuce, and instead used something else. Overall, I would definitely stop back here next time I'm in Miami and need a quick bite.

SO. GOOD. Found this place with great reviews and a short walk from my office during one of my strong pizza cravings and just had to try. I 'll admit that I looked at the pizza and I really thought I wouldn 't like (I usually like only thin NY style pizza what are these squares?! . However, I was immediately IN LOVE at the very first bite. It was delicious! Pizza tasted very fresh, had a crispy yet airy crust, cheese and sauce were incredibly tasty....yum, yum, yum. I believe the special is one huge slice (cut into 4 squares refer to my picture with a beverage for $4.99. Good price for great quality pizza. Can 't wait to come back!
