Contribuiți la feedbackFor how poorly this item was executed compared to the cost, I feel like Ive been scammed. Who puts the noodles and broth in the same container for delivery? Charsiu extremely tough and chewy (any decent cook knows what that means). Four pieces of bamboo, speckled with a few pieces of scallion. At $32.50, plus tax, fees, and tip, I paid over $40 for this. And the only thing passable was the broth (just passable, not even good or great). I really hate leaving bad reviews, and really go out of my way to support local restaurants, but this...smh
Food is just broth with 5 min noodles and minimal tasteless protein as their feature menu item. Dumplings are the same you'd find in any cheap Chinese restaurant but the prices are astronomical!! The place is very small with seating for about 16 inside and not conducive to larger groups at all with no ambience at all. Service is by the cook or cooks which just means them bringing food from the kitchen to your table. The most outrageous part was them adding 18% gratuity to the bill and then asking for a cash tip of 20% on top of that. Totally laughable especially given the low quality food and basic non stimulating dining experience. Do yourself a favor and dine elsewhere!! Trust me!
Food was ok. Ramen brisket was a little light on protein. Fried rice was good but took much longer than expected to get to the table. All items were very expensive for what you get. So overpriced. Not worth it
I give this place two stars because it's a cute vibe and the food was hot. As a ramen lover girl, however, I'm very disappointed with the food. My chicken ramen had in it broth, ramen, egg, a little green scallion, and unseasoned boiled chicken!! No veggies, no mushrooms, no spices, nothing else! If charging premium, serve a premium ramen! Dropped a pretty penny for one person and left hungry. Update: I actually initially gave a higher star rating before I noticed the auto gratuity, after I had to go inside to pay (lol). I asked him to remove the gratuity and I would pay cash accordingly. The owner took it off, then screamed at me to get out and not come back. Don't worry sir, I definitely will not be back.
Very sad. Let 's begin with the end the guy handed me my bill that has $130 sumtin (with an 18% gratuity already included and tax .. I handed him my card, and I saw that he charged it for $150 (he inadvertently felt the need to increase my tip for him without bothering to ask me how sweet of him, not. Btw, it was to go food. For those who have their own principle on tipping. Don 't worry, they include the 18% regardless so be warned. It seemed like the same wait staff who took my order is the same guy who prepped our food. We ordered 2 types of fried rice ox tail and pork belly neither were good. We ordered 2 ramens pork belly and chicken all mixed together noodles and broth for each respectively. The container wasn 't sealed shut, so I was left with leaking bags of broth and super soggy noodles (btw, the broth is bland even for my bf who loves bland tasting food . I tried to order the soup dumplings but it was unavailable. This experience defines 'Batting a thousand ' it 's legit meaning. I guess I should 've passed on this and waited for the Chef to come back from his vacation from Japan probably I would 've enjoyed some of the $150 hard earned money. Photo of receipt to follow. It 's in my car, the receipt is so metaphorically disgusting I can 't throw it away. It 's so hot outside it 's just gonna intensify this depressing feeling I have while I recall this experience and writing it and recalling the whole irritating wasteful experience.
