So about three weeks before the party, I decided to visit the store in person to pay for the customized donuts, which cost $40 for a dozen; I wanted two dozen and was ready to pay. Unfortunately, the only staff member in the store greeted me with a visibly negative attitude. It was clear from the moment I walked in that she was upset and not interested in customer service. I was prepared to spend around $100 on the donuts, but she remained unfriendly and dismissive throughout our interaction. At one point, it felt like she didn't want to sell anything at all. I was really disappointed because I was eager to make my purchase, and this was the only option I had at the time. The poor customer service was hard to overlook, so I ultimately decided to leave without buying the donuts. I kept my response polite and simply stated that I wouldn’t be placing an order. To me, customer service is crucial. When you're paying for a service, you deserve professionalism and courtesy. If they can't manage that, perhaps they need to consider hiring someone else. If the woman is the owner, that's even more concerning. The shop itself looked clean, and the donuts appeared delicious, but this negative attitude overshadowed the experience. After my disappointing visit, I opted not to get the customized donuts, even though it was my only choice at that moment. Thankfully, I found another place called Mojo Donuts, even though it was a bit pricier and farther from my home. From the moment I called, the service was completely different—professional and attentive. I spoke with three different people, all of whom were eager to assist me. Ultimately, I decided to place my order with them, and I can't wait to enjoy the donuts!
I stumbled upon this place by chance, and I must say, I’m very impressed. The donuts were incredibly delicious, beautifully crafted, and made with great attention to detail. We're quite selective about our donuts, and we will definitely be coming back!
PLEASE READ BEFORE GOING: Honestly, my mom was having a bad day, and I wanted to cheer her up before I got back to work, but unfortunately, the customer service was not up to par. When I got there, she told me to give her a second, and when I didn't understand the first time because she was so far, I couldn't hear, she looked at me If I was stupid. I waited a whole 10-15 minutes while she was back there, assuming to prepare some donuts that a guest in front of me ordered. But at least come back to the front and greet me and fill me in on the situation, instead of texting away in the back and leaving customers wondering what's going on. Long story short, I ended up leaving because I was running late, and the time frame to do something kind for my mom was gone. Thanks a lot, Maxi Donas : appreciate the lousy customer service. 0/10 would NEVER recommend.
The customer service was lacking. I came in and the women in the front wasnt very personable. I dont speak fluent spanish and so i told her so, but she just continued to speak to me in spanish. She told me shed be with me in a moment while she was talking loudly on speaker phone to someone. I waited for 15 minutes and she just continued to do what she was doing. Wish i had the chance to try the donuts, but i left.
I ate a doughnut there and it felt like I ate a brick, the frosting tasted like medicine and to top it off it was TOO EXPENSIVE, definitely Not worth it
