Mamma Caruso's Pizzeria - Miami

The pizza turned out to be much thicker than I expected. The photos I had seen made it look thinner. While I did enjoy it, I wouldn't rank it among the best I've had—definitely not the first, second, or even third best. It was nice, but I found the tomato sauce a bit too thick and chunky, with an overwhelming amount of garlic. I personally prefer a lighter sauce. What I find strange is that there's a picture of a pizza slice in another review that claims the pizza is "excellent." It looks amazing—thin, with a light sauce and a crispy crust. I can’t understand why my pizza didn’t turn out like that.

I called the restaurant to inquire about what went wrong, and they assured me that they haven't changed management or cooks, claiming that this pizza was made just like any other. They apologized for my dissatisfaction but didn't offer any remedy. This response has led me to decide that I won’t be ordering from them again anytime soon. Why? Because I once had a disappointing experience with a pasta dish at a nearby restaurant, and when I called to address the issue, they promptly offered me a replacement or a credit for my next visit. I had a similar favorable experience at a Chinese restaurant in Brickell, where they provided credit for my next order. Customer satisfaction and retention should not be that complicated.

Good place to do take out. Good food. I'm not sure if I would like to actually eat at the place. But the quality of food is really good

Absolutely delicious! I had a craving for tacos, but since everything was closed, I opted for pizza instead, and it turned out to be a delightful surprise. They serve the best Chicken Parmesan sandwich around! The prices were reasonable for the area, and I hope they maintain that. I will definitely be returning!
