Cantina Catrina - Miami

We have there and they did not find my reservation. for the luck they have provided tables. waitress was nice, but don't eat so well.

We came and sat fast. it took a bit until the waiter came. they give up nothing to munch while they wait, so they have to order an appetizer that is probably intentional. some appetizers are too expensive, but the chips and salsa is a good value. enchiladas rojas were good. also had an salate and it had very little toppings. the greens were packed down. So I don't recommend salate. children's dishes do not come with any side really that I think they should add because the portions seem small for happy. Once we had our meal, we had to ask for more water. the waiters should notice certain things. we were interested in dessert, but it took so long until the waiter came back that we decided to ask only the check. so overall it was good, but not very good/great.

Will probably never go back. I don't even think the workers there know that they are able to make reservations online when I came there, they tried to sit me and my family on a hightop when I decided to make a table when I made the reservation. we ended up on a table and were not greeted by a waitress for almost 30 minutes. we were also placed on a table in the corner and the server handed over us so often ignore us. we were all a little upset, but all the time we waited to eat and go. we ordered tacos and truffle corn guac and some drinks. when the guac came, it was almost laughing, how small the Guac disc was surrounded by far too many maischips. the tacos were very mediocre. when the bill came, it was definitiw something that we had accumulated as a learning experience. they also have a free shot of frozen margarita when they write an evaluation on yelp and show their server evidence, explaining why my hopes for this place were so high. only an incentive for a free shot haha. the whole mediocre food for the price is sweet, but it is not worth it.

Eating was much less than average. the service was bad and the staff did not speak English. we had to wait for over 30 minutes for water and drinks. when the drinks finally arrived, the order was wrong. I also ordered red wine (malbec) and it was served as a cold beer instead of room temperature - so a malbec should be served. this restaurant should not be on open table.

Went on Friday evening. Food came out less than 5 minutes after we gave our order to the waitress. It was cold. Chips were greasy and tasted like old oil. Selection of drinks was limited to just margaritas and they were terrible. I will not return!!!!!!
