Ayesha Fine Dining Midtown - Miami

The restaurant was closed! I'm not sure why they are still accepting reservations on Open Table. We ended up going to a lovely Italian restaurant a few doors down, and it was fantastic.

We had a reservation but were disappointed to find the restaurant closed for dining. They only offered takeout service, so we were turned away.

Given the restaurant's reputation and the positive reviews I'd read, I anticipated much better service. The waiter and even the chef informed me that they were no longer honoring the reservation because he simply didn't feel like it. When I pointed out that they would likely lose significant business over this, the chef shrugged it off, which I found quite rude. I asked to speak with the manager and owner, but they refused to come. The service was slow throughout the evening. While the food was good, the service and overall attitude towards customers were disappointing. I understand that this is a chain of restaurants, but this isn't my first negative experience here. I recommend taking your business elsewhere; I was extremely embarrassed and have dined at many excellent restaurants, but I've never encountered such poor service before.

Both the food a day service were great. We will return.

The food is absolutely amazing and the service is pretty good. Biggest issue is that it is uncomfortably warm inside the restaurant. None of the outdoor tables were open when we arrived, but I’d recommend sitting outside for comfort. That said, I would definitely recommend to others and I plan to go back myself.
