Original Big Tomato - Miami Springs

With the cool temperatures today, our office was in the mood for something hearty and comforting. Our boss had some errands to run and he called into the office letting us know he was picking up food at the Original Big Tomato. I opted for the Bikini panini with no artichokes and a cup of Mushroom Brie soup, my co worker went with the Loaded Potato Soup, and my boss went with the Spinach Sensation. My panini was delish and was humongous...so much so that I gave my boss half so he could eat more than just a salad. My co worker really liked the potato soup, but alas, my boss did not enjoy his Spring Sensation Salad as much as he would have liked. Two things he wished he had added a protein such as chicken and he felt like the salad lacked texture, as he is more of a fan of iceberg and romaine lettuces, since they have that crunch. Regardless, we will definitely be ordering again as even he knows his salad was not a true representation of all the other items he has enjoyed at this place:

Ordered from the hotel they were quick and there food was amazing giant portions and sandwiches were delivered warm just like we ordered and desserts were fantastic. Great food and great fast service!! Highly Recommend

Gone by the way side. Again, no consistency. Terrible pizza. Use to be great. Now it's garbage.

Located on a corner, the parking lot is not great, but not terrible. You have David's cookies and some cupcakes, but no ice cream. The salad was fresh and...
