Contribuiți la feedbackWhile I was there, I was working on my laptop and enjoying a cup of coffee. After finishing my drink, I responsibly disposed of the cup. To my astonishment, an aggressive security guard approached me and insisted that I purchase another coffee if I wanted to remain. This demand was completely unreasonable, especially since I had already completed my initial order. Things only got worse when the security guard returned to repeat this ridiculous request, effectively harassing me for not adhering to their nonsensical policy. It became clear that these rules were enforced by the manager, who seems to lack basic customer service skills and understanding. I cannot stress enough how awful my experience was at Lincoln Eatery. With terrible food, an uncomfortable atmosphere, and unreasonable demands from the security staff, it’s evident that this establishment does not care for its customers. Save yourself the hassle, expense, and frustration by steering clear of this place altogether. There are plenty of other nearby dining options that offer far better experiences.
I want to be candid: I never actually got to try the food. My experience was overshadowed by how the staff treated me. I was looking forward to visiting this food hall and working remotely from there. On my way, I picked up a coffee from a nearby shop, but upon arrival, I was told I couldn't drink it because it would conflict with the espresso stand inside, supposedly for marketing reasons. After stepping outside to finish my drink, I returned to set up my laptop to send some emails before the stores opened for lunch. However, the staff kept insisting that I needed to make a purchase, even after I explained that I intended to buy something once the stores opened. I don't know what's going on with their security and staff, but I won't be returning. There are plenty of other dining options and food halls in Miami that I plan to explore instead.
The Lincoln Eatery in South Beach is a fantastic dining destination. We had lunch at the pasta place and then returned the next day for sushi and fresh bowls. The variety of food available is impressive, and the prices are very reasonable. We also had the pleasure of meeting Robert, who gave us excellent recommendations for other dining options. Our experience was delightful, and we will certainly be back. It’s a charming neighborhood gem in South Beach.
Very cute spot. It's looks much bigger than it actually is, but enough of a selection to find something to eat. Also, just enough space to have a seat and eat.
Stopped in while attending eMerge Americas the Convention Center because the food was practically non-existent in the VIP lounge the lines at the very few food stands available were massive. Seemed like I wasn't the only one with that idea because practically everyone there had an eMerge badge on. This might explain why it took forever a day to get my food from the taco place in the corner... The food hall is probably not used to this influx of people all at once. In any case, once I did get my Chicken Quesadilla, it was MUCH better than I expected! If you know me, you know i LOVE condiments the fact that the quesadilla came with 3 sauces (well, 1 was technically sour cream) made my heart sing. Added a side of guacamole a Ginger Lemonade I was set. Super tasty VERY filling. While not the most authentic or inventive taco place in town, it definitely got the job done very reasonably priced for the Beach. Definitely want to try some of the other spots at the food hall. My friend's poké bowl looked incredible as did many of the other dishes I saw. Super cute interior as well! Lots of rocking chairs an all around charming southern vibe... Will be back!
