Tamara's Bistro National - Miami Beach

I would sum up my experience by saying it felt like home. The staff were incredibly kind and friendly. I arrived at 7 in the morning, and they graciously allowed me to check in right away, which made a big difference. The room was beautiful and spotless. The hotel’s location is ideal, and the pool area is fantastic. I always found a spot to relax, and the hotel provides towels for both the pool and the beach. I will definitely stay here again next time! The food and drinks were absolutely delicious.

As for walkability, the hotel is conveniently located near various restaurants and shops. The food and drinks were delicious; the shrimp tacos at the Aqua bar were outstanding, and the tapas were a highlight as well. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed by the outstanding staff and the high level of customer service in every area!

The pool area is very nice, and the staff there is also attentive and helpful. One downside is that drinks are quite expensive, and they only allow you to bring your own beverages if it's water. While you can get a beach chair for free, there's a daily fee of $25 for an umbrella, which I find a bit excessive. As for the rooms, they are nice, but my fridge didn’t work, and despite my request for it to be fixed, it never was. The decor leans towards a masculine style but is overall very nice and clean. In terms of walkability, there are plenty of great restaurants and shopping options within walking distance. I especially enjoyed the Italian trattoria and bakery across the street, which is perfect for breakfast and lunch. As for the food and drinks, the offerings at the hotel restaurant and bar are quite good. I have no complaints; both breakfast and lunch selections meet expectations for a hotel of this caliber. I didn't order any mixed drinks, as $20 for a small plastic cup seemed a bit too pricey for me, but they do have a decent selection of other beverages.

Great location and friendly staff. great pool area and bar. Old fashion style and unfortunately it needs some upgrades.BUT, the lay down beach chairs are for free but the umbrella is 25$ plus tip!??? I was confused and disappointed….

Don 't stay here unless you like being harassed and accused of doing things you didn 't do. Guests are given a wristband to wear on the property. Accompanying guests are required to show ID and sign paperwork. We reserved a suite with a king bed, pull out sofa and 2 bathrooms. I was taking the pull out sofa and the 2nd person was taking the bed. Less than 10 minutes after checking in, I called to request linen for the pullout sofa and was accused of having 6 people staying in the room. They said someone saw 6 people enter the room no one else had even been to our room. I then explained we have 3 separate rooms, at which time they then wanted to know everyone 's room number (I only knew my own, as we literally just checked in). They then wanted to know the other 's last names. Why was I being interrogated?!?! Later, the toilet was broken and they said they fixed it, but it was still broken. We were changed to a different room and upon me calling to request linen for the pull out sofa, I was again given the 3rd degree about how many people were staying in the room. When they brought the linen I asked what was the issue with all the questions and they said people rarely ask for linen for the pull out sofa. Even if that 's the case, you shouldn 't be surprised or give someone a hard time about making a simple request. I did not feel comfortable staying there at all I felt like my/our every move was being watched like a Hawk for no reason at all. The location was decent, but aside from that, I would not recommend staying there unless you don 't mind being unnecessarily profiled.
