It had very Tulum vibe great music but was really nice was that it is very open and all outdoors. With the pandemic this felt very safe lots of distance between seating. Now the food was absolutely delicious we had the chilled lobster with drawn butter, the mezz platter, grilled tiger prawns, ceviche and fried soft shell crab. All were perfectly cooked and full of flavor! Our server Bianca was very sweet and knowledgeable about the food. We were surprised with how fairly new the restaurant is with smooth the service was. The manager even stopped by to welcome useven though the place was pretty busy. Definitely our new weekend spot!
I liked the drinks and the food but the service has to improve. The napkins were very stained and the barcode for the menu it wasnt working. We asked for a menu on paper but the didn't any other option. I understand they are Eco friendly place but they should have a plan B when the barcode doesn't work. The first waiter talk to us while she has looking at her phone and it was very rude. Then, other waiter take our table I don't know why. Anyone told us nothing about it buthis service was a lot better.
It was soou hot and the fan they had only helped a little, but it was my fault not to anticipate the heat. our server that I cannot remember its names, I'm sorry was amaaaazing! it was my first time to try an otopus and he suggested to have it extra grilled what it tastes so good! kudos, sir! we were a table Asian lady with a baby if that helps. He needs a recommendation!
Venu is nice, but I was there during a miami swim week fashion show, and the Venu service was everywhere and did not seem to know what was going on or communicating well in the organization. people with reservations stood and waited up to an hour because random people sat in reserved tables. we have seen how server before and after we pass, about 20 minutes before we were frustrated and finally someone stopped asking if they could get us a server. after that it took another 20-25 minutes, just to order water drinks. our food, that was basic because the menu is super small for ever taken. we didn't get our food until the place was ready. we had to hurry to eat and it was very unpleasant to sit there while the people brush and close. I understand that they even had an influence on the service, but with such events the venu should be prepared and organized.
They should reserve this restaurant no less than an hour before closing. we're around 7 and everything was quiet. no time to eat or enjoy. Why even people sit at this time? it doesn't make sense. the menu could be extended and also improvised.
