We experienced some of the best dinners ever in this restaurant in a lovely setting highly recommend we shall return for a longer stay at the hotel as well to be able to enjoy the talents of Chef Antoine Plantier

This restaurant is located in the middle of the forests; the view from the terrace shows beautiful scenery with green hills all around. The service was good and swift. We found the combination of risotto and turbot pretty strange. The very fine fish would deserve another support that the rather heavy, with cheese prepared risotto. We also missed vegetables. This is even more disappointing as one can see beautiful and tasty vegetables in all shops and even sold along the road at ridiculous prices in this summer season. The selection of cheese was a wise decision. The choice was large and the explanations and guidance received helpful. In the contrary, the ice cream was disappointing for this level of restaurant. The presentation was lacking any imagination; de facto there was no presentation… The two ice cream balls were just thrown in a cup, without any decoration or other extra… Overall, we see no reason to return…

This is an unsung gem, with moderate prices, good food and service, and a lovely setting. There is plenty of parking. Eat outdoors on the pretty patio if it's nice or in the spacious tiled dining room if it's not. The courses are varied and suit all tastes, and the desserts are excellent.
