Simply the best ! Local food and family restaurant with beautiful montains view. Children can play outside and see cows, dog and chicken. Service impeccable as always and with smile. The staff are friendly and passionate. The space is warm and welcoming. Generous ans tasty dishes. Possible to stay on the parking for night. Lot of hiking way arround. I highly recommend this restaurant, for a dinner, a lunch and just to have a rest after a nice hike.

Uff rain is one of the places you have to stop for a lunch while in the Vosges. The restaurant is looking typical and they are very concerned by the food they propose. You can also stay outside and enjoy the mountain landscape. As we were too late to enjoy the typical macaire menu, we enjoyed their cold plate with all the meats and cheese they have. Very good quality/price ratio.

We visited this restaurant following its listing in English on the Alsace tourism website, however none of the staff spoke English, we understand we are in a different country, but this place did not try very hard to help, it gave us the impression it was more of a place for locals. We found the welcome to be not particularly friendly. The restaurant was cafe style with paper table clothes, paper napkins and sauce in sachets on the table. There was no view of the mountains from the tables. The food I would rate as mediocre, our food came with potatoes (a lumpy mash), a bowl of lettuce covered in oil and some hard bread. The place was supposed to be family friendly, which it was, apart from the playground, which consisted of one broken swing and a dirty sandpit. Would I recommend a stop here no!

Nothing to say is great! The frame, the welcome, the menu, the service!!!. the toilet door. We will come back and talk about you!!

Very nice hostel, very good meals, very good service, finally everything is very good!
