For our jubilee my man surprised me by bringing me into this restaurant. the decoration is cozy, and the staff was very pleasant at our arrival and throughout the meal. we both ordered the smallest menu because the others had too much to eat for both of us. the meal was delicious, every bite a pleasure. venison, cooked straight with red cabbage sauce and dessert were just divine. as for the price, they can not expect to pay a meal with high quality products and great service without for it. to summarize it, we both had a very nice evening and would not hesitate to go back if our wallets allow. merci pour cette soirée exceptnelle!

While we get good service with two women literally running around the restaurant, I felt the eating and what we ordered was not the quality or the perfection that I had expected. the dining room was too bright. many times I poured my own bottle...Weine because they were so busy serving. the menu was quite expensive and too much to eat. 70 euro for a menu with not many alternatives. our bark was overcooked and the turbot had a really strange taste with all the things that they added.

The pate de fois gras was superb. the veal was delicious. the little nutty goodie you get at the end of the mean in the shape of a heart...so good. add to it that the atmosphere is cosy without being stuffy and the owner extra friendly and this is a win win situation. the service is a bit slow by american standard but then the French like to take their time to enjoy a good dinner. so come with the french frame of mind. it is not that slow. just a little bit. Stuck between Champagne and Alsacian wines, Moselle wines have a tendency to be forgotten but try them, they are delicious. the value is good for the money too. it is a bit out of the historical center. we did not feel like driving and we had to take a taxi.
