Bad service forgotten starter wrong mains that were an hour in arriving and cold. Manager only interested in trying to find which staff to blame. Walked out. Enough said

It was our first visit to Courtepaille despite seeing the chain restaurant around everywhere, and we only came because we had a Groupon, which was lucky because it would have been a very pricey meal otherwise! The service was top-notch; we were seated straightaway and brought our menus. The open grill within the restaurant was right before our very eyes, so we knew just how long our food was taking to be prepared. Nothing was too troublesome for our wait staff; we asked for extra sauces and changed our minds, and they were very accommodating to all our requests. The ambiance was very rustic, and the chef working the grill would definitely provide entertainment for kids and adults alike. The food was pretty good; the steaks were done to our liking, and we could order whatever we wanted for the sides. We chose the green beans, ratatouille and baked potato with sour cream, so it was definitely a complete meal. I believe you can always ask for more if ever you're still hungry, but we certainly weren't. Overall, it was a decent meal, if slightly pricey for a chain restaurant.

Tasty and good value. Steak cooked excellently as usual by the French! Our visit was just before the Tour de France so the restaurant was decked out in polkadot, yellow green for the jersey colours which was rather cheery.
