Novita Bistro & Lounge - Metuchen

This restaurant is my all time favorite. I like the way the menu changes for the different seasons. It's difficult to just pick one appetizer they all sound so fabulous. The dinner choices are equally delicious and keep you staring at the menu. I love their soups as well. You will not want to miss this place. Carlo greets us with a great big hug and Oscar helps out with our dinner choice because I want one of everything. He's a terrific waiter and always checks in on us. They even serve delicious desserts. Try and leave room for those... Food and staff make this place my number one restaurant.

Our favorite restaurant. consistently excellent eating with great wine pairings. Live music to dinate at the weekends. service is always the best. great atmosphere.

Service was friendly, efficient, but not rushed. hanger steak was tender and cooked for perfection. lachs also exceptionally well done. we share an appetizer eggplant rollatini, which was delicious and served on two plates. Live music in the bar area, but not overwhelming in the dining area.

Filet was raw in the middle after the ordering medium. the other courses were very good.

The best Italian restaurant in mewels and the whole opposite beautiful, freshly made pastas and salads.
