Friendly's - Metuchen

The food is delicious, drinks are delicious and look great, the ice cream tastes so good! The waitress is really kind and understanding! Also quick service! The atmosphere is also nice

I had not been to friendly's in ages because the ones closest to me or closed. I went with what I always used to get at friendly's which was a patty melt with American cheese instead of Swiss and a chocolate Fribble and it did not disappoint. Just like the old days.

I went to Friendlys tonight with my sister, boyfriend and best friend. I had an appetizer and a meal it was delicious. We drove 35 minutes for friendly’s because sadly, every single friendly’s near me is closed. My server was so so sweet and nice! He really had that Friendly charm and attitude that most employees have. Except for the lady at the counter when first approached the lady asked us if we wanted Dinner or icecream and my friend said Both and she said ‘’yeah ok so dinner.’’ The only downside of this friendly’s experience was there were a few forgetful moments, which was overcharging for things not asked for. As well as forgetting things that were asked for. I just think it is annoying that friendlys charges 0.99 cents for whip cream and cherry when it was not even on the ice cream. The water tasted like soap unfortunately. I do love the restaurant friendlys but honestly friendlys will be gone by the time I’m 22. (I’m 21) but that super melt tho??

My girls and I entered greeted right away. We ordered to go gave us the ice cream paid. Left cant say much didn't stay to eat but maybe next time. It was quiet, clean, inviting. It was a nice day so we took to go so we could walk down main st. Will try again one day. That's why couldn't give 5 stars.

Didn’t get one foot in the door before staff announced that dining room was closed. Arrived at 8:24. Posted sign says closes at 9. This is fine but but when we sighed because of disappointment staff felt the the need to say “See ya!” Very low class. Won’t return.
