Atmosphere It is a bar that serves food. We sat near the front at one of the large high top tables. The place was half full but most tables were covered with dirty plates and glasses. Food Drink Just water. Lunch Philly Cheesesteak, blah is the best way to describe the dried out meat. The only thing saving it was the cheese and there was not much of that. Service Lacking, so you need to order your food from one area and drinks for the bartender. The bartender did visit us at the table. She delivered the drinks and forgot about us. It took some effort to pay for the drinks that were ordered. She literally said she forgot about us. Future Probably not, but it is a business trip with a lot team members, so who knows.

Fat Edd's Roadhouse was a pleasant surprise on our recent, brief visit to Metropolis. We were passing through the area and decided to check the Superman Statue off our bucket list. After our photo-ops at the statue we were hungry, and decided to give Fat Edd's a try. When you walk in: go to your left if you are hungry, and right if you are thirsty. The restaurant and bar are operated separately. You order and pay for your food on the left and order and pay for your drinks at the bar on the right. The day we visited there was a waitress for the bar side. She was very friendly. For the food, you walk-up and order at the counter. They will call you when the food is ready. My wife tried the California Salad, and I had a BBQ Chicken Sandwich. We also ordered the Buffalo Chicken Dip. Everything was very tasty. If you are looking for good food, friendly service, and reasonable prices, I recommend you try Fat Edd's Roadhouse.

The food is good. Something for everyone. Prices are great. Drinks are pretty tasty too

This is not edible. You will get sick if you eat there. The drinks are good, and the service is good, but the food is horrible. The slaw is totally inedible. The grilled chicken only comes with nasty sauces. I tried the bourbon sauce, but it was just nasty barbecue sauce, and the chicken was cardboard. They won't dress your sandwich, either. No pickles, no tomato, no onion. This is as bad as it gets, and the selection isn't good, either. Not many sides.
