Fine Folk - Metro Durham/Chapel Hill

This was our first trip to Fine Folk and we couldn’t say enough great things about our experience. The ambiance was eclectic but casual. We started with an old fashioned, berry wine slushy, shrimp cocktail, and the “salad of sorts”. All were excellent. The salad in particular was one of the best I can remember tasting in many years. For our entrees, we chose the parmesan crusted trout with risotto, steak frites, and mushroom stroganoff. We couldn’t stop gushing the entire meal. Only recommendation for the manager would be to watch the room temperature. It was uncomfortably cold in the dining room and we watched several people leave to get jackets from their cars. Overall wonderful experience and we’ll be back.

Loved the drinks. Food was delicious as well and the staff was super friendly. I had the Big A Breakfast and let me tell you, I need a daily serving of those biscuits!

Just had brunch here for the first time! It was super delicious. I had the BA breakfast and the slushie of the day (pina colada! . My husband had the breakfast burger and a mimosa. I really appreciated how knowledgable the staff was on allergens in the food and drinks. That is not easy to find sometimes!

I ordered the big a breakfast which came with two eggs, bread or southern biscuit, choice of meat (bacon, sausage or veggie) and choice of side (potatoes or grits). It was a good portion for the price. The biscuit was moist, flavorful and had a nice crunch. I enjoyed the sausage as it was homemade (not pictured sorry). The mimosas were perfect. I definitely will come back for brunch!
