Dove Olive Mercantile

With my recent visits to Dove &Olive, I’ve found unique gifts, as well as personal items. I look forward supporting more local businesses that she is providing a venue for them to promote their merchandise and talents.

Peaceful, elegantly friendly atmosphere with a genuine spirit of community. Highly recommend!

This is a wonderful place to go and have coffee and visit with friends. Owner is so friendly. The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable.

Had coffee here with my family today! Looks great (bright modern) and has a nice atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit! I recommend the milk chocolate hot chocolate! Definitely one of our regular coffee spots from now on.

Ok, this is a hard review to write, because I am not sure about what the Dove and Olive Mercantile is truly meant to be. I loved the name, and the location and the layout and the concept, which seems to be in development. Which is totally o.k. The aesthetic is very appealing. It looks to be an old grocery store with big wonderful windows which will fill with light even on gloomy days. The place is spacious and is meant to serve as a place to purchase goods. Ok. And workspace. Ok and coffee. Ok. But If I come in, do I pay for a membership? Not clear. Is it for locals only? Not clear. Are your items for sale just things you like or sustainable? Or local? Or just pretty. Again, not clear. And why do we need to buy a box of matches? Uh not clear. But why the four stars then? Check out their website. There is a vision. And I like that vision. That is what drew me to find them on Yelp....oh and also that they are close to Anisette. The other really big BIG reason for a star boost in addition to the potentials the realization of the potential. Like this.... Go check out the events on their website. They have some interesting events going on, for example Introduction to Ennegram , Charcuterie workshops....Artesian Candle Lab? Ok, you 've got my attention!
