Dear Village Takeaways. Thanks for being the best take aways in all of Canterbury (at least if not South island . Keep it up : More choice than most is an understatement. The range on the menu is superb and all the hearty feeds I 've had from there (Mexican , Southern, Italian, Kiwiana...the list goes on have always more than satisfied my hunger. Here is why you should pick village: Tasty. Generous servings Great price Fast and efficient and produce a quality meal Lots of homemade components in food Giant diversity of food not just shnapper and hotdogs Friendly staff Anyone who clicked less than 5 star doesn 't know food. The burgers are the star. Big as can be, and made with fresh in house buns. Staff are entertaining and friendly. Give it a try for dinner one night.
