Not Your Average Joe's Methuen

We ordered fish and chips for dinner. We were not pleased with the fish. It was over coated which detracted from the fish. Reminded if soggy dough. First time I’ve been disappointed with NYAJ. Hopefully next time will be better.

First visit in years due to the pandemic. Food and service were excellent!

Noise level was a bit loud for me. The original seating assigned was not great, one of the seats were broken. My food was ok, nothing to write home about. I ordered the Tuscan chicken sandwich. It barely had any chicken, the fries were very salty and stale. The place was not very busy and the food took a while to be served. The plus side, our waiter was very nice and very accommodating to our needs. I would probably go back, but never order another sandwich from them again especially charging a plate.

NYAJ has fallen in food, service and experience not just this location, but across the board. Below average.

We always get good food and great service at NYAJ. The place could probably use a deep clean (we noticed the walls were pretty filthy), but otherwise, we always have a great time.
