Glenrosa Farm Restaurant - Metchosin

Glenrosa Farm Restaurant is a cozy and welcoming place that offers a fantastic dining experience. During our visit in August 2022, we were impressed by the delicious pizzas and salads on the new menu. The vegan pizza with cashew cheese was especially outstanding, even better than pizzas we had in Italy. The eggplant and tomato salad with croutons was also delicious. We enjoyed our meal at the outdoor picnic tables on the beautiful property, taking in the peaceful evening atmosphere. Though we missed dining inside the restaurant, we appreciate the necessary changes that were made. The pizza offerings continue the tradition of exceptional food in a rustic setting at Glenrosa. The restaurant also hosts brunch as a regular star offering and occasional dinner events. We were fortunate to discover a pizza night event during our visit, where we enjoyed homemade crusts with local ingredients and house-made sausages. The appetizer small plates and desserts were equally impressive, with the date pudding being a highlight. The food was presented with simple grace, leaving us feeling both satisfied and rejuvenated. Owner Jane is also wonderful with children and puzzles, adding to the delightful experience. Overall, Glenrosa Farm Restaurant is a must-visit for a memorable dining experience.

We had an amazing rustic countryside dining experience at this restaurant. The food was fantastic, well-presented, made with fresh ingredients, and served in just the right portion sizes. Jane, one of the owners, was incredibly sweet and even shared with us some history about the farm that overlooks Pedder Bay. We can't wait to come back!

Glenrosa is housed in a stunning historic building with incredible views. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the food is exceptional. I highly suggest trying their charcuterie board featuring local delicacies for a true taste of the island. Save room for dessert, as their frozen yogurt topped with lemon crystals, heavy cream, white chocolate crumbles, and a cake base is better than some of the best desserts in the city. The prices are reasonable considering the high quality of the food. I highly recommend dining at Glenrosa.

Fantastic dinner here. The food (lamb) was perfect, and was awesome while still feeling home cooked. The service is fabulous and the staff are friendly. A must when biking through on the Galloping Goose!

This pandemic restricted restaurant has a winning idea. Take handcrafted pizzas. You are wonderful and the Brussel Sprout Salat wonderful. They only offer pizza in Friday and Saturday night. You have to call before the order and then pick up. There are no seats in the restaurant. Many places for a picnic. A little ride, but the food is worth it.
