The Cheesecake Factory - Metairie

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food and dessert were delicious, and our waiter was very attractive. Overall, I give it a perfect 10 out of 10 rating! Thank you, Damien!

The food was good. I ordered the Jamaican Black Pepper Shrimp, which tasted almost like BBQ shrimp. The plantains were delicious and not something commonly served in Louisiana restaurants. The black beans were a bit weak, but since they were just a side dish, I could overlook it. Unfortunately, I'm not a fan of cheesecake, so I didn't try any of their signature cheesecakes. However, someone in my group did try the peanut butter cheesecake and thought it was better than average, but not outstanding. I opted for the Blackout Cake and had a similar opinion. The prices were slightly high, with my dish costing $20. However, I did have leftovers, so it ended up being around $10 per meal, which is typical for me when dining out. I should mention that the layout and traffic of the shopping center where this restaurant is located is chaotic, so be prepared for that.

Every time I travel, I always make sure to check if there is a Cheesecake Factory nearby. I was thrilled to find one in town! Even though I had already eaten a full meal before stopping by, I couldn't resist getting some of their amazing desserts to go. Each of us got a slice of our own, with options ranging from the classic original with fresh strawberries, to the indulgent ultimate red velvet cake and white chocolate caramel macadamia nut. These desserts are incredibly creamy, rich, and absolutely delicious! I can't recommend them enough - make sure to pick up a slice or three for yourself.

The fish tacos were light mainly filled with fresh veggies, they are served with a small side of salsa but truthfully needs to be served with a lot more salsa as they can be dry. The red velvet cheesecake is a layered dessert of cake with cheesecake covered in a sour cream icing this was the best cheesecake I've tasted in quite some time! Cannot wait to go there try more of their desserts!
