Short Stop Po-boys - Metairie

I drove all the way from Wilmington, NC to buy a shirt at the New Orleans Harley Davidson. While there, we asked for a recommendation on a good place to eat away from Bourbon Street. They directed us to Short Stop Poboys. I have tried many poboys before, but this was the best one I have ever had. I highly recommend this place to everyone for its great food and reasonable prices. Thank you for a delicious lunch.

I ordered shrimp poboy with sweet potato fries. It was good. Just wish the shrimps were fried just a little harder. Great food and welcoming staff.

We have eaten here for years and as usual, the restaurant was clean and well staffed when we arrived mid afternoon. The wait in line was short and the gentleman took our order quickly and then prepared the sandwiches. Another short wait and the roast beef and meatball poboys were ready to go. A quick visit with the cashier and we were on our way. Thank you Short Stop!!
