This family-owned restaurant has consistently provided excellent service and friendly staff during my year of living here.

I was in the mood for dessert and a drink, and being in the South, a pecan pie sounded perfect. It turned out to be quite good. However, the food prep workers didn't seem very professional—thankfully I didn't order a Po' Boy. On the bright side, they offered a nice selection of cold mini bottles of wine and margaritas. The cashier definitely moved slowly, but that allowed me to text during checkout instead of while driving!

The deli seems to be going through a rough patch. Perhaps it's due to a change in management, but it definitely doesn't measure up to how good it used to be. The po-boys are still decent, but the breakfast platter I ordered today—I've been a regular for 20 years—featured an unrecognizable gray substance that was meant to be grits. It resembled a hot gray paste. I've encountered bad grits before, but this was nothing even close to grits.

I grab breakfast from here about once or twice a month. It's usually tasty after I add some salt and pepper. While it's not quite on the level of Waffle House or IHOP, it's affordable, quick, and satisfying!

This is an excellent spot for sandwiches, whether you're stopping in for breakfast or lunch. The food is consistently fresh and made quickly. Prices are very reasonable for both food and gas. There is also accessible parking, entrances, and restrooms for those with disabilities. I will definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone in search of a quick meal!
