Contribuiți la feedbackThis place is now Chaps Chicken. Breakfast was great, employees are very nice. You need to try the chicken, best around town. Made fresh to order.
Kitchen needs to pay more attention to the orders and not 'assume ' things, as I was told they did. When I order a croissant with turkey, that is exactly what I want. No egg, no cheese, etc. Same thing happened with my friend 's food.
They changed owners and it is now HORRIBLE. Had chicken salad on avacado! the chicken salad was in huge chunks smothered in poor quality mayonnaise!! Was unedible!! Went bacl again again and tried the spinach salad with bacon, purple onion, almonds, mushroom and chicken. It was edible but it had a fish smell to it like the ingredients were in a fridge next to fish or something! Will NOT EVER GO BACK! Too much to pay for inferrior meal!!!
Love this place. The portions are extremely generous the prices are very reasonable. Not very fancy atmosphere but with food this good who needs that . The wait staff is always friendly and ready to help.
I stopped in for breakfast the other day and noticed a man with a dog inside the place. I sat down and began to drink my coffee when the dog came over by my table, as I reached down to pet it ti growled at me and I assumed it would have bitten me if I did not back off. From my 25 years experience in the service industry I noticed that this did not look like a service animal but more of a emotional support, comfort or compassion animal and that is not a service animal by law. My breakfast arrived shortly after and it was mediocre at best. Bacon was burnt eggs were over cooked, hash browns were nothing but grease etc. I noticed a few people constantly watching the dog as it roamed around. I would assume they were also un easy about it being there. Given that the breakfast was not so great and the dog inside the establishment I dont think I will be back. Neither the ADA nor Louisiana’s service animal law includes therapy dogs or what some people call “emotional support animals”: animals that provide a sense of safety, companionship, and comfort to those with psychiatric or emotional disabilities or conditions. Simply purchasing a vest for your animal online does not make it legal
