A Tavola Restaurant Wine Bar - Metairie

My fiancé mistakenly began eating my sister's chicken parm. The waitress noticed the mix-up and went to the kitchen to sort things out. When the manager began her shift and found out what happened, she comped the meal, brought the table a side of meatballs AND a offered us a complimentary cocktail. Not only is the food amazing but the service is OUTSTANDING!

We enjoyed ourselves here for a second time. Claire F. was a delightful Server with authenticity and an eagerness to oblige our requests. We enjoyed the Italian Chopped salad, Baked Goat Cheese and the Lasagna rolls. We’ll be back!

I went with friends to try out this Italian restaurant after work. We made reservations online; so when I arrived ahead of my party I was seated right away. The restuarant has a happy hour featuring $3 beer, and $6 cocktails. I really enjoyed the Italian Margarita. There was no specials just what is offered on the menu. Went last nite for dinner. Hostess was at the front I believe training some1 but let me stand there for at least 2—3 min b4 even acknowledging me. Finally got seated. Waiter was nice. We ordered the Butcher Chef special which is a meat cheese plate of the chef's choosing. Waiter brought it out, placed it on the table walked off. Came here just prior to closing time in a Sunday night. Staff was very inviting and eager to give us a great experience. You can tell that management there is very much dedicated to good customer service. We even got to meet their executive chef, John, who was incredibly friendly and talked to us even after they shut off the lights. We had fennel sausage pizza and crab cake.
