Hosteria Delle Terme - MESSINA

This place is always a favorite. Right off the Main Street. The staff are always working hard from open to close. If you need a break from the crowd this is a great pick.

Located just a few feet to the left after entering the Corso Umberto through Porta Messina gate, this tiny rest stop offers travelers a refreshing break on what is generally a very busy main street. We stopped for a lunch of toasted sandwiches and salads, returned later for a cold afternoon beer break and came back again in the evening for wine and coffee after dinner. We did several variations of this during our one-week stay and enjoyed friendly staff interaction each time. If you're near the head end of Corso Umberto, consider this place for a comfortable break in your day.

We were tired from traveling and wanted an early quick dinner. We were a party of four and we had three different pasta dishes. Lasagna, pesto pasta and arrbiatto. All the dishes we're plentiful and delicious. The Rose and white wine were also acceptable. Overall the service was quick and good. Very enjoyable outdoor seating restaurant. Total bill came to 45 euros!!

We went here every night during our recent visit to Taormina. Excellent staff, food and drink. Staff were so friendly and attentive and i highly recommend you visit if you are in Taormina. So glad we found it and we will be going back next year

Stumbled on this little restaurant by chance, we were starving and sick of the overpriced not so nice meals we had been having. The prices are what drew us in, we weren’t expecting much but what we got was friendly service, cosy atmosphere, cold beer and the best pasta! It was such a great spot to have lunch. I’m just sorry we didn’t get a chance to have another meal there.
