The Latin Kitchen - Mesa

I was excited to see a new restaurant near my clinic and last week made my first, which will be many stops on the Latin cuisine. The price was right. Eating was good (have the pulled pork plate with rice beans and Maduros) and ready quite quickly what can be important about the lunch hour. Had a very pleasant conversation with one of the owners and found me really hope that things go well for them. Beautiful decoration inside. Go there. Supports a new local business. That's all.

I like to try different local places, so when I heard about the Latin cuisine, I knew I had to check it out! You have a great menu with a variety of choices without being overwhelming. I've been here several times and I get something different every time. My favorite is the Cuban sandwich. I had a hard time finding a good Cuban in the Phoenix area. They also have some cool little appetizer plates and I like to try them out as some of the dishes are new to my tastes. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. Tables and decor are welcoming and relaxing. It is in a beautiful place, easy to find and good parking. It'll be regular.

A really good hole in the wall Cuban food. I had the Rojo Pork Entree, which had many flavors with a very healthy family feel at the place. I will definitely eat there again to taste some of the other dishes.

Fantastic Cuban / Latin food at a great price! Former Havana Cafe, they have sunk, but the same cook and the same good. Very recommended Latin Kitchen for a fantastic lunch during the week or until 6 pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

AWESOME ... nothing less can be expected from BJ Hernandez. A long time fan of the (late) Havana Cafe, I can safely say that The Latin Kitchen is a winner. I enjoyed the Pollo Cubano plate with rice and black beans. It is absolutely delicious. You can't miss with BJ's flan for dessert. I wish BJ and Elisa well with thier new venture. Mesa has a new star in their culinary sky.
