Teharu Sushi - Mesa

The prices are reasonable, but the quality of the sushi could use some improvement. Some of the rolls weren't as cold as they should have been, and one of them had an off flavor. Additionally, many of the rolls were poorly made and fell apart easily. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the conveyor belt is a nice touch, but we likely won't return. Food rating: 3/5.

This was my first visit to a conveyor belt sushi bar, and it was a great experience! I tried the teriyaki chicken with rice and various California rolls. Overall, I’d rate the food 4 out of 5.

My husband and daughter love this place as it is really fun to grab plates off the conveyor belt as they come around. There are Japanese sodas and fresh rolls. They will make special gluten free rolls by request and now even have gluten free soy sauce!

I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. They even have covers over the plates, ensuring that the sushi isn’t exposed to unwanted germs as it circulates. The waitstaff is incredibly friendly, attentive, and make you feel like a priority from the moment you walk in. Honestly, I have nothing negative to say about this place. You can tell that the chefs are passionate about their work, and the management genuinely cares about the customers. They also offer a regular menu for those who might not enjoy fish. My wife often orders the teriyaki sesame bowl, which is around $9 and quite generous in portion size—I usually help her finish it!

Get the gyoza with the teriyaki sauce!! Everything we had was fresh and/or warm. Very fun experience. Loved that you could sit down and immediately start eating your meal. We were in and out in 40minutes! Great service. The cost is per plate, and the plates are color coded, so you have to watch what you grab to watch your budget. With the prices, it was easy to try new sushi. Great experience!
