Izzy?s Bakery Cafe - Mesa

Great spot! There's a wonderful variety of pastries to choose from. The staff behind the counter were all incredibly friendly and helpful, always wearing smiles. They offer a range of unique drinks, and they were more than happy to provide free samples. The place serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The pastry I tried was delicious, and I loved their self-service system with trays that slide—no need to reach with your hands, which is excellent. However, during my second visit, I noticed that the windows in front of the door could use a good cleaning. Additionally, some of the labels on the pastries were hard to read, so I wasn't sure what a few of them were.

DELICIOUS! I'm so happy to have found Izzy's Bakery. So far, I've tried only the chocolate mousse and a coconut roll, and both were incredibly tasty. The roll is made of brioche, sliced open in the middle, and filled with sweet, fresh butter and fine coconut. In my opinion, the coconut pairs beautifully with the rich, buttery flavor of the bread. And the mousse—don’t even think about just grabbing one from the display case; call ahead and order one. It's that good! Cakes are $40 for five mini ones. I’ll see you next time with some photos. The experience was decent overall. I wasn't a fan of the cream in the coconuts, as it had a somewhat sour taste, but the baked coconuts were definitely the highlight. I didn’t enjoy the green teacake slice due to the red bean paste filling; I think a green tea and cinnamon crunch filling would be a better option. The raspberry sponge cake was excellent, but I found the almond biscotti cookies to be lacking. I give it 4 stars for service, cleanliness, and a few standout dishes.

Izzy's is by far my favorite café! Such a relaxing atmosphere, and the staff is always welcome. You have a wide selection of various sweet and hearty baked bread cakes! My personal favorite is the Hokkaido cream cheesecake. The Boba tea is wonderful, and I love it an option for less sugar too! I strongly recommend a visit!

Loved the hot dog bun! The Vietnamese iced coffee was really good. The gold rush was super sweet with no option to adjust sweetness level. The fruit green tea wasn?t bad. Customer Service was good.
