Golden Gate Chinese - Mesa

It's been a minute or two since we dined here. The good news is that it hasn't changed – and the prices are still excellent. It's a wonderful family-run place with fantastic food.

I had a great experience at this restaurant. The waitress was incredibly friendly and attentive to all our needs and more. The food was amazing and exceeded our expectations. My whole family enjoyed it. The only suggestion I have is to consider updating the furniture. Overall, I would give it a solid 5 out of 5!

I visited this cozy restaurant with the intention of just placing an order, but I ended up sitting down with my two-year-old granddaughter. We tried the Wor Wongton soup, fried crabs, and their house tea. The shrimp was large and the soup was incredibly tasty. The waitress was friendly and professional. Customers kept arriving, which clearly showed that the food is excellent. I can't wait to return with my family and friends. It was my first visit, but definitely not my last! If a two-year-old loved the food, you know it must be good!

Great prices and food a great idea for lunch. That was all for a price.

First time going to Golden Gate last night and it was great! This isn’t your Asian-fusion, pretentious Chinese restaurant. It’s an old school Chinese restaurant with an old school decor. Extremely friendly service from the entire staff. I was shocked by how plentiful the portions were. Will definitely be coming back!
