Filiberto's Mexican Food - Mesa

I ordered through DoorDash, and initially, it said my order was being prepared. After waiting over 40 minutes for it to be picked up, my boyfriend decided to go down and place the order himself. Unfortunately, he ended up waiting an extra 25 minutes. When he finally got home, my food was incorrect. I won't be returning.

The street tacos were quite tasty. The carne asada was not fatty at all, which I really appreciated. It was juicy and packed with flavor. When I picked up the tacos, they were so stuffed that I ended up having to eat with a fork! I know, it feels a bit like a sellout to eat tacos that way... but if anyone asks, I'll just say I'm from New Jersey! Ha!

The service was slow and unfriendly, and it felt almost nonexistent. When the food finally arrived after a long wait of about 20 minutes, it was actually pretty good. However, we didn’t receive everything we ordered, although we weren't charged for the missing items. Communicating with the person at the window was difficult due to the plexiglass shield. There was a large sign indicating that the dining room was open, but it was locked. Overall, the cleanliness of the place left much to be desired, which seems to be a common issue here.

I was extremely pleased with my experience. I didn't have to wait long in the drive-thru, unlike at other locations. The cashier was friendly and professional, and I definitely got my money's worth. The food was delicious!
