Contribuiți la feedbackLooking for an affordable food to help with expensive bill I found American Discount Foods. The location in East Mesa has fewer options, but has found some of the best deals in the main location. The place is clean, people friendly, and quality is better than I expected for a discount food store. We had some really good meals and treats I couldn't have done in a budget.
Can 't believe it took me this long to come here. I came to just check it out and left with a full cart. I had read some reviews and checked all expiration dates. I honestly didn 't find anything that was long expired. I got a couple of items with best by dates from 2 months ago because I knew my family would would finish them that week. But if you 're super picky, most items are still current, use your own discretion/preferences. The spinning wheel was fun at checkout, I scored a free item from their prize cart. Bonus that they have a veterans discount on Thursdays. I highly recommend anyone to check it out! Edited to add the employees are super helpful and kind!
Great place to shop! Some of the items are extremely discounted. You can't shop for your weekly groceries but you can certainly find items to stock up on. You will find things you can't normally find in one of the local chains. The employees are always friendly and are more than happy to help
All the meat I bought was great. Shopper should check expiry dates and determine whether it is something they use quickly or are ready to eat expired. As long as the buyers know the great grocery prices in their area, they will be able to say what is a real DEAL and what they would be willing to pay the full price for a longer shelf life. Otherwise the staff is friendly, the store is well organized and clean.
Your guarantee is honoured. Some foods I returned for various reasons and refund them without any problems. Buyed frozen baked chicken meat that was excellent, baked and all 5 of us liked it. Grain on the train date was still great, honey, trader Joes Hot Dogs on the train date were still good, organic grass fed beef (frozen was on the train date for months and it was great! Articles I returned... Salad nuts/seeds were rancid, oatmeal granola bars were tasteless, banana chips had no taste and some other things. So you're not afraid to take a chance! (And do not take these things as negative for the store and what they do. So much food is thrown out when it can be sold. Shops like these are wonderful to sell food that is still great!
