Contribuiți la feedbackDuring our visit from North Carolina, we were thrilled to find a restaurant offering Hawaiian cuisine. Having lived in Hawaii years ago and missing the food, we were excited to try the plate lunch, featuring chicken katsu and teriyaki chicken. We also enjoyed the manapua and Aloha Maid drinks. The staff was friendly and efficient, ensuring we received our food promptly. Overall, it was a delicious and satisfying experience.
This restaurant, although small and not as big as some others, offered a taste of Hawaii outside of Hawaii. The staff at the front may not have exuded the typical aloha spirit, but having a slice of home in the desert was definitely worth it.
From the Californian Hawaiian BBQ is one thing!! I searched for an authentic experience and this restaurant has it. Good prices, servings and food were very delicious. Make sure to order the wings, especially if you don't like large pieces of chickens. The sauce was delicious on the island of Chicken Wingz (appearant). Overall good dune in experience with good company.
I met up with my brother and sister-in-law for lunch at this restaurant. Unfortunately, the food took quite a while to arrive. My brother and sister-in-law ordered before me, but I ended up receiving my food 20 minutes after ordering. They still hadn't received their food. After waiting for 45 minutes, my brother went to ask about their order and was told it would be ready soon. Finally, after almost an hour, their food arrived at our table. The service was slow and we were disappointed that there was no proper explanation for the delay. The food, while not bad, was nothing special either. It was what we expected from a fast food place trying to be fancier than it actually was.
The Teriyaki chicken was not dry. Rice was a bit weter than sticky, but most like I remembered, although oasis 't lived un Hawaii in over 30 years. Definitely recommended.
